This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Let's Scrap - International Scrapbooking Month

Fun and Laughter - Enmarc Challenge

Hi Everyone

I hope you had a stunning weekend! If like me, you are still on leave, enjoy every moment and enjoy your day.

I have been doing a lot of scrapping this weekend and will hopefully share all of my creations with you soon, but here is one that I can share for the Enmarc challenge.
Here is the challenge sketch.

Here is my take on it.

This layout is about two little boys who became friends.  Jerome and Joe.  Joe actually named Jerome and so they have had a close friendship.  Jerome is now living back in Zimbabwe, but Joe talks about his friend often.

I used BG Oliver papers and Oxford Chipboards, Enmarc chipboard elements and 7Gypsies rub ons, Royal Langnickel rub ons and some brads. I also spray painted the background cardstock with "Coffee" Dazzles spray.

Here are some close-ups.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a scrappy day!

Today I have a card to share with you that I did a little while back for my parents 45th wedding anniversary.
Here is the card.  I used some lovely rub ons on the numbering just to add a little something extra.

I hope you are enjoying your long weekend!

40

Hi Everyone

Two posts in one day and the day is still young! LOL...
I am enjoying every minute of my scrapping time.

I created a layout fore the Let's Scrap Challenge 134, which has a Phantom of the Opera inspiration theme for this challenge. So I wanted to create a dramatic and elegant layout for an auspicious occasion, this being my sisters 40th birthday party.
Here is my offering.

Materials used: Making Memories Paper Reverie, Kaisecraft rub on, Design Worx chipboard swirl, Enmark trellis corner, Pink Paislee London Market elements and Prima flowers and butterfly.

Once again, thanks for visiting, your comments are truly appreciated.
Have a great day!

Happy Birthday Card

Hi Everyone

I am really enjoying the weekend and enjoying spending some time with the family and just relaxing a little.

This week I had a really bad bout of the tummy bug and I was absolutely miserable for a few days, but as always happens, these sorts of things give one a new and fresh perspective. I am happy to be alive and happy to be creating and have a new and fresh approach to life again.

Anyway, enough of the philosophy and here is a card that I made for Let's Scrap. I had previously made a layout and since I had some papers over, I wanted to make a card.

Here is my card.

The patterned paper is Kaisercraft, with the stickers and wording being Echo Park and the number 5 from Crate Paper and the cute little aeroplane also Kaisercraft.

Take a closer look.

You are such a cutie - Let's Scrap Sketch 4-18-12

Hi Everyone

Today is sketch reveal again at Let's Scrap and here is the cute sketch posted.

And of course...here is my layout.

The papers used are Kaisercraft. The bits and bobs are however from quite a few different manufacturers.
I think the border on the layout just gives this layout such a fun look and is obviously a Martha Stewart punch around the page set.

Thanks for visiting today.
Take good care.

Just be You - MME Challenge

Morning Everyone

I have been scrapping up a storm and completed another layout for the MME April Challenge.
The challenge is to include hexagons in a layout, so here is my take on that.

This is such a great photo of Joe and I really wanted to do a layout that spoke to him personally, and that I hope he will one day read and understand.

I used MME Follow Your Heart Papers  and embelishments, with a few buttons and a SEI rub on.

Here are some close-ups for good measure.

Thanks for checking in today with me.  I really do appreciate it and all your comments!
Hope you'll stop by soon again.

Home - Once Upon a Sketch Challenge

Hello Everyone

It's a great day for scrapping and this is exactly what I have done! I gave a scrap class this morning and then decided that I just had to come home and scrap myself!

This layout is for Once Upon a Sketch and this was the sketch this month and the theme was about "Home".

So here is my layout.

I matted my photo by roughly stamping with a grid stamp onto the cardstock and used Pink Paislee Old School papers and stickers. I used a Royal Langnickel rub-on, which was absolutely perfect for this theme and also Fabscraps wooden buttons.

Below is a close-up of my journalling.

This layout was very close to my heart, because I always think of my my family, when I think of home. It would just be a house, if it didn't have the love and care that goes with the family in the house.

Thanks for visiting here today...
Have a great weekend.

Life is Beautiful - Berry71Bleu challenge

Hi Everyone

This week is passing in a flash and before I blink my eyes, it will be Friday again! Now that's a good thing, and I am certainly not complaining!! So roll on Friday and roll on weekend!

Today I share with you a double page layout that I did for the Berry Bleu challenge.  This was the inspiration picture, which certainly got my creative juices really flowing!

I really focused on those beautiful raspberries and the green cheescake sides and just  the very summery, but also french feel of these pics.

So here is my offering.

Here are the individual pages below.

And here is a close up of the journalling.

And lastly, the centre piece.

The papers used were all the gorgeous Websters Pages, A Sweet Life, Sweet as Cherry Pie and Twiggs from Feather your Nest.

I did a lot of fussy cutting and then added the dimension with double sided foam tape. I managed also to fit the photo's into the centre frame and then still add a few leaves for decoration.

I really am truly blessed and this layout is a reminder to me that Life is Beautiful and that I have all I need right beside me!

Have a blessed evening.

Tayla and Blackie - Let's Scrap Challenge

Hi Everyone

I hope that you have all had a lovely weekend and that you have rested and are refreshed for this week.

I have a layout to share with you that I did for a Let's Scrap challenge, where journalling and flowers were the name of the game.

So without further adieu, here is the layout.

I used MME So Sohpie paper and the journalling tag, Bo Bunny Sweet Tooth paper and Delish Bistro Sizzling stripes paper, and a Basic Grey sticker. The swirls are Design Worx and the pearls are "china town specials".  I used a Martha Stewart punch to create the border and stamped the title with Fiskars Alpha set.

Here are some close-ups for good measure!

Okay, well I hope you have found a little bit of inspiration here today.
Have a great evening!

On the Go - Bo Bunny

Hi Everyone

This is the start to a long Easter weekend for me.  I am starting with some scrapping tonight and will hopefully be a lot more over the weekend too.

I want to share a layout that I have put together for a kit.  I used Bo Bunny papers and stickers from the On The Go Collection, and my layout was also titled On The Go, as it was so apt.

So here is the layout.

Here are the individual pages.

This is such a brilliant collection for little boys! I love the colouring and also the cute little stickers that go with it. It is just perfect for these cute boy layouts!

Here are two close-ups of the journalling.

I hope you have had a super day and thanks for visiting!
