This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Just a Quick Hello

Hello Everyone

Just a quick hello to advise that I have not dropped off the edge of the earth.
Our internet connection at home has been off for about 10 days now.

It is rather frustrating but not much that I can do.

I hope to be back shortly.

I hope you are all well. ;-)

Have a super day!

Live for the Moments - Penelope Dee Photogenic Collection

Hello Everyone

It's Saturday today and we are off to a 30th wedding anniversary party later.
I am looking forward to seeing old friends and just chilling a little.

In the meantime, I am sharing a mixed media page from the Penelope Dee Photogenic collection.

I used a Penelope Dee stencil and crackle paste for the background, along with some ancient rub-ons and Penelope Dee stamps.

Let's look a little closer for good measure! ;-)

I was really so pleased and amazed that the rub-obs still worked so well.

These 3 young ladies have been friends all through primary school and now still regularly see each other, even though they go to different high schools.
They are really tight friends and I am sure this is a friendship that will last many years, if not a lifetime! ;-)

So what are you up to this Saturday?
Anything crafty on your desk?

Have a super Saturday.

Stashy Christmas Card

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing another Christmas Card.
I have been de-stashing and it certainly feels good to do that! ;-)

I used distress ink and water on the music paper, to create a watercolour effect.

Here's a close-up of the little cluster.

The addition of the black leaves just finished it off nicely.

So how are your Christmas cards coming along?

Hope you have a lovely Friday!
Take care

General Card - Mixed Media

Hello Everyone

I have wanted to create a monotone card for a while now, with various mixed media.
It seems to make the card look incredibly soft.
I think I achieved it with this card.

I used texture paste and a stencil for the background and then coloured it with distress inks and water.

The chipboard I covered with texture paste and then added some all purpose ink to colour it.

Here's a close-up.

I purposefully did not put a title on the card, so that it really can be used for any occasion.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a fabulous Thursday.

Christmas Tag

Hello Everyone

It's Saturday and I hope you will find some time to craft and play a bit!

I have been digging into my stash and I pulled out some old rub-ons and bits and pieces, which I used for this Christmas tag.

I can honestly say that I have had these rub-ons for years.  The fact that they still work, with no issues is attributed to a really good product! ;-) I was thrilled.

I then added a few other little bits and pieces.
Not too difficult and not too time consuming!
I love it when a "tag" comes together! LOL

Thanks so much for popping in!
I truly appreciate you visits and comments!
Have a creative Saturday!

Birthday Card - BoBunny Double Dot/ Take It Make It Challenge: September

Hello Everyone

I hope that you have had a good week so far.
I am so pleased that Friday is here and that the work week is finished for me!
I look forward to some creativity and crafting! ;-)

My niece turns 14 today and so we are meeting up later for a family dinner.
I made this card for her.

I used the new BoBunny Bold and Bright Double Dot Designs 6x6 pad for the background strips and then I used some BoBunny stamps, Butterfly Kisses and Doodle Frames for the design.

I stamped the frame and then cut it out.  I also stamped the butterflies and then fussy cut them out and used distress oxides to colour them. Lastly, I added some white accents with my white gel pen.

Here's a closer look.

I also splashed some white paint over the rainbow background too.

I hope she likes it! ;-)

I have also entered this card for the Take It Make It Challenge: September

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a fabulous Friday!

Kosbaar & Spesiaal Layout - Penelope Dee Diamond Layne Collection

Hello Everyone

Penelope Dee is a local supplier and I am so very proud of the beautiful products that they put out and the wonderful quality too! ;-)

I am so honoured that they send me products to play with! ;-)

I have a layout to share with you today, using the Diamond Layne Collection.

The title means Precious and Special.
These are for the special ladies in the photo, who also happen to be my cousins.

Here is a close-up.

I used black gesso with a stencil to create the background, along with some Distress Ink - Fired Brick.

The black cardstock is inked with gold around the edges and actually pulls into the gold diamonds on the paper.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I really appreciate the visit!
Have a fabulous day!
