I have another art journal page to share with you, which was actually done at Valentine's Day, but I just have not been able to share it! It's been such a busy start to the year! ;-)

Anyways...so here's the page.

I wasn't quite sure about this page..but I think it has grown on me. LOL

The few bits and pieces I used here are from the "Love You Madly" collection, which I won a few years back,  It's a pretty and soft collection.

Here you can see some of the texture, crackles and bits.

It was certainly fun, experimenting with all the various layers and mediums.

You are so very Sweet - Scrap Around the World January Challenge

Hello Everyone

We are having a scorcher today and very soon I hope to go and have a dip in the pool! I just came back from a walk with Joe and the dogs to the park, and I am soooooo very hot! ;-)

I have a post to share with you and it's for the Scrap Around the World January Challenge here. It has such a super, soft mood board.

I chose to use the colouring from this board for my page.

This is our new puppy Blossom, she is a Border Collie and is so very precious.  We got her on the 05th Jan and she is now 7 weeks old. She has been such a breath of fresh air to our home, as well as chaos and destruction!!!! ;-) LOL....but we love her dearly and she gets on really well with Rosie.

I used the Love You Madly collection from Glitz Design.

I did a lot of gesso layers, stencilling, watercolouring, sponge painting, stamping and then lots of layers.

Beauty - SATW Challenge Dec 2013

Hello Everyone

I was like a hawk today, waiting for the sun to come out behind the clouds, so that I could get some good photo's of this page I want to share! Everyday it has been starting off overcast and then perhaps the sun comes out...but some days it has not! It surely has not made it easy for photography!

Okay, so here is the SATW challenge this month.



I loved the soft colours of this challenge, the aqua's and pinks and the sketch was also inspiration for my page.

I used the Love You Madly collection by Glitz Design...these papers were just perfect for this challenge.

I used a lot of diecuts, and they certainly added to the softness of this page.

This photo was taken recently, when my brother-in law remarrried and this is his beautiful wife.  She really did look stunning.
