Be Cool - Penelope Dee Summer Breeze Collection

Hello Everyone

I have a page that I actually made last year, that I had never shared here on my blog.

This is really a favourite of mine.

Here it is.

I used the cool collection "Summer Breeze" from Penelope Dee, along with some Pentart 3D balls and other little bits and bobs.

Here's some close-ups.

I used gesso stencilling and paints for the background too.

I really love this boy page and this cool photo of my son too! ;-)

Happiness Tag - Penelope Dee Summer Breeze

Hello Everyone

It really has been so awesome to play with the Summer Breeze Collection from Penelope Dee.

It's such a versatile collection.

I made a general mixed media tag.

I did some gesso stencilling and stamping on the background.

I also made the large flower from some cardstock and some Penelope Dee beads.

I used the gorgeous Sizzix die-cut.

This is by far my favourite die-cut.

Summer Paradise - Penelope Dee

Hello Everyone

I had the absolute privilege of playing with the Summer Breeze Collection from Penelope Dee.

So thanks a ton Glenda, for this fabulous opportunity.

Here's the first page I created.

I used the Penelope Dee stencil and some crackle paint and watercolour features for the background, along with some fussy cut circles and paint splatters.

Here's some close-ups.

I also used some brown beads on the background. On the chipboard pieces I heat embossed with Distress powders.

This collection is really so versatile and can be used for feminine or masculine pages.

Art Journal Page - Berry71Bleu November Mood Board

Hello Everyone

I am up on the Berry71Bleu blog today, with an art journal page.

Here's the fabulous mood board this month.

Here is my take.

I used the Summer Breeze Collection from Penelope Dee.

I loved this sentiment and so that was the inspiration, along with the colours, which were perfect for the mood board.

There are many layers of paint, stamping, stencilling and bits of patterned papers.

I am happy with how it turned out.

There is still time to play along with the mood board.
