This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Mr & Mrs Mixed Media Layout - Class - BoBunny Only You

Hello Everyone

I was super busy last week.  My son was busy with exams, work was busy, I was trying to get DT projects finished and I was also preparing for a class, that happened this past weekend!
It was one of the busiest weeks ever! Thank goodness I survived! LOL

So sorry for being missing in action!

So here was the double page that I did and this was also the class page!
South Africans are still very much double pagers...so this was the first double page I have done in quite a number of years! ;-)

I used the Only You collection from BoBunny, along with Celebr8 chippies and flowers.
Some new products used were also Nuvo mousse, sequins and confetti.

We really did have a super class and a good time was had by all! ;-)

It was good to meet new people and also share creativity and learn new tips and tricks!

I wish you a really good Monday and hope you have a super week!
Cheers for now!

Wedding Card - Scrapberry's and Docrafts/Papermania

Hello Everyone

A colleague at work asked me to make a card for a wedding that he is attending next month.
So I made a card to match the wedding invitation.

Here's the card.

I used the Scrapberry's Words Live Forever collection, along with some Papermania/Docrafts All Aboard bits and pieces and stamps.

I layered up quite a few papers and bits and then also added some stamping.

I coloured the chippie leaves with distress oxide and then gave it a spritz and then also added those vibrant little poppies.

I think it's a layered yet simple and elegant.

Thanks so much for popping in!
I really appreciate the visit!
Have a great day!

Artsy Craftsy Paint Palette

Hello Everyone

I hope that you had a good weekend and also a good Monday.

A scrappy friend wanted to buy the paint palette kit from Colourful Memories and so we both decided to get one. We attempted to do it last week at our scrap and chat evening, but I had left most of my supplies at home, due to being rushed, as my husband was late getting home.  So yes, it really did not turn out anything like the example project, but I am really happy with it, none the less! ;-) Not that I have ever been one for following kit instructions!!!!!! LOL

So here's the end result.

It was really nice to try and do something different for a change! ;-)

...a little bit of gesso, lots of stamping, some chipboard and some blooms! ;-)

I love that stamped sentiment..."Always find time for the things that make you happy to feel alive".
My work life has been very stressful and busy over the last few months and my creativity and scrapping has been my solace, my peace of mind, my sanity and my retreat!! I am so glad to have had that "outlet"! ;-)

Thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have a super evening!
