Misc. me - BoBunny Take a Hike Collection

My son went on such a cool Birthday party for his friend this year.

They went to a place called GO APE.

This photo gives you an idea.

In any case, this was perfect for the Misc. Me project that I had to do.

Here's the first spread.

These kiddies had soooo much fun.

The little blonde boy is Jamie, one of Joe's best friends.

I really wanted Joe to be able to remember this, especially when he is older.

Here's some of the gorgeous goodies below.

Funny Boy - Mixed Media Layout - Fire Cracker Collection

I am so sorry that I have been missing in action! ;-)

Life has just been crazy busy.

Luckily my sister is now much better and well on the way to recovery, but life is still busy between work, home and scrappy projects due.

Trio of Fathers Day Cards - BoBunny Fire Cracker Collection

Hello Everyone

I hope that you had a stunning weekend and also had a super Father's Day yesterday.

We had a super family day except for the fact that my sister ended up in hospital.  This time with gall stones and an infected gall bladder.

The poor girl has really been through a lot lately and so I hope she recovers soon!

In any case, I made some Fathers Day cards for hubby, Dad and my brother in law.

I used the fun Fire Cracker Collection from BoBunny.

The second one I really loved and the design was really cute.

Live, Love Laugh - Graphic45 - #UniquelyYou

Hello Everyone

I am playing along with the Graphic45 June Challenge, which is a layout based on oneself.

I used a photo from 2 years ago, it was my Birthday, we were at a wedding and I loved my hair! LOL

I used my favourite Graphic45 collection, which surely has to be Botanical Tea.

I had a lot of fun with all the fussy cutting and little bits! ;-)

I did some gesso stencilling, with watercolour effects and then also some stamping.

All of my favourite things.

I really love this collection because it's so soft and has so many beautiful and classical elements.

I used 2 botanical type stamps...if you know what I mean..."bloom" and "Do you suppose she's a wildflower?" and then the gorgeous Live, Love, Laugh stamp for my title.

60th Birthday Card - Graphic 45

Hello Everyone

On the weekend I attended my cousins 60th Birthday celebration.

We certainly had a ball and it was really so great to see some of the family and also spend time chatting and celebrating.

I, needless to say, had to make a card for the young man! ;-)

So I used all my bits and bobs from various Graphic 45 collections and made this card.

I did not have an envelop that would fit it, so I also made a quick envelope.

It's always so good to use from my stash and I still love these papers and pieces.

Graphic 45 is certainly timeless and classic.

Birthday Card - BoBunny Secret Garden / Take It Make it Challenge June

Hello Everyone

I can't believe that a week has passed and I have not posted anything on my blog!

Oooops...my bad!!!! I have no idea where the time went!

I am posting from a freezing and icy Johannesburg...I think the max temp today was like 9 or 10C.

That is very cold for us Africaners that love the warm temps and sun!!!

Anyways, we had some good rain too, but it certainly has made it verrrrrry cold! ;-)

I have a Birthday card to share with you today.

I used the gorgeous Secret Garden Collection from BoBunny.

I used a BoBunny Stickable stencil - Party Time and a Versamark clear pigment stamp and white embossing powder to create the bottom part of the stamp.  I then went and did some watercolour effects over the embossing, using blue, purple and pink spray inks.

I used BoBunny Floral stamp to stamp the flowers and the leaves on some of the pretty patterned papers and then fussy cut the elements.  I also fussy cut some of the swirls from the patterned papers.

Lastly, I stamped the Birthday sentiment with a Penny Black stamp.

I am also entering this card for the Take it Make it challenge, over at the Craft Stamper.

Wedding Tag - BoBunny Juliet Collection

Hello Everyone

I hope you had a crafty and restful weekend!

I crafted up a storm this weekend and I am really pleased to have got a lot of projects done! ;-)

So today I want to share a wedding tag that I made, using the stunning and romantic Juliet Collection.

I did some fussy cutting, die-cutting and dry embossing, with a stunning Sizzix embossing folder.

It really is so pretty! ;-) I sanded the raised edges and then also lightly inked them with brown pigment ink.

Birthday Card - BoBunny Firecracker Collection

Joe had a Birthday party on Friday and so I used the new Firecracker Collection from BoBunny to make a card. This is such a cool collection! ;-)

I did mostly doodling and stamping.

Here is what the inside looked like.

Since it was for a boy, I kept the styling clean and simple.

Sometimes clean and simple does the trick! ;-)

You are Enough - Berry71Blue June Challenge - Serenity Mood Board

Hello Everyone

I hope you are all well, in the various parts of the world.

Here in Johannesburg winter is definitely setting in and so it's definitely getting more and more cosy to just sit at my scrap table and create! ;-)
