This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Scrap Africa Sketch #8

Hi Everyone

I am really excited and thrilled at being chosen for the Design Team at Scrap Africa. It is really an honour and I look forward to contributing, along with a really super and talented group of ladies.

So here is the sketch again.

And here was my take on the sketch.

And here are a few close-ups.

I spritzed the background and then did some drippy painting on the right-hand side top corner.
I used Basic Grey papers and elements and Making Memories Alphas, with some Minds Eye tape.

These photo's are just some of my favourite photo's taken in Aspang Markt at the Feuerwahr Fest and are exactly about the journalling, on my layout. What a little delight he is! ;-)

Yesterday my little boy turned 5 and I am still in awe of how much joy and happiness he has brought into our lives! I love him to bits and wish him everything good and happy for the next birthday year!

Thanks for stopping by today and hope you are having a great weekend.

Take Care

Some more pics from Austria...

Hi Everyone

My feet are just not touching ground at the moment.  I am scrapping up a storm, but nothing that I can share with you, just at the moment. So apologies, that there are no new pages to share.
I will, however, share some more of my photo's from Austria.

The photo was taken from the top of Hochegg hills and has little paths, all the way to the bottom. It was such a glorious, hot and sunny day!

This is the river that runs right past the family home! Everyday we would take walks in the river to cool down and the kids would swim.

The Austrian people really make an effort to make their homes and their environment so pretty and welcoming! The flower pots everywhere are just bursting with colour and aroma!

Joe and Johann on one of the farms, where we went and had some lunch.

Two of the other family homes! Just too beautiful and again, I just loved those flower pots!

This was taken on Schneeuberg mountain, the highest mountain in Austria. It is very cool up on the mountain, but the views are breathtaking and the scenery gorgeous.

This was such a cute photo of Joe trying to use the telescope, but as you can see, he has it pointed up at the sky and nowhere near the valleys below. LOL

We took the ski-lift up to St Corona and then walked the path back down again! The ride was thrilling and the walk very steep.  Beautiful views and scenery, was again the order of the day!

Anyways, thanks for stopping by and hope you enjoyed the photo's.

Have a great evening.

Photo's from Austria

Hi Everyone

I have just spent two awesome weeks in Austria and thought I would share some of my photo's with you.
This is such a beautiful country and is also known as "The Land of a 1000 Hills".
The weather was gorgeous and the company really friendly.

Firstly, the family home in Aspang.

I love this photo of Joe, he was getting ready to do some tree climbing.

The woods are just so beautiful and here is a picture of one of the woods we went walking through.
Wild berries and mushrooms were the order of the day.

The views and sights are breath taking. Here is an example below.

This photo is a favourite of mine and was taken on the hills of Hochegg. The children were sitting in a beautiful grass field.

Another breath taking view of the highway passing through Aspang. A magnificent bridge and awesome scenery.

This photo is a farmhouse and "mostheuriger". We had a beautiful and scrumptuous lunch made from all the products that this farm produces. i.e. bread, apple juice, meats, cheeses and jams.

A change of scenery is always good for the soul and this vacation certainly did my soul good.

I will post more photo's tomorrow....but I hope it has tickled your travelling fancy.

Have a great evening!
