This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Altered Playing Cards/Trinket Box - BoBunny Genevieve Collection

Hello Everyone

I have been a little under the weather, with laryngitis and flu...and the weather has been really cold and rainy too! So yes...the last few days have not been so bright at all.

I have a project to share, which is an altered Playing Card Box or Trinket Box.

When we were kids, my Gran taught us to play card games and was always eager to play with us. So while creating this project, I really thought of her! ;-)

I used the beautiful Genevieve collection and some of the super, new BoBunny die-cuts. Can you believe I didn't use any flowers??? LOL....I thought the birdie was pretty enough! ;-)

These papers are really beautiful! ;-)

Anyways, a short and sweet post.
I hope you have a super Saturday!
Denise x

  1. First... Hope you get well soon...Then this box is awesome...Love playing cards with my daughter...she is 4 and always wins!!!He he..Thanks for the inspiration, i believe i'll try something particular too..

  2. Ugggh! NOT a good time to get the flu... Hope it flies away soon......which leads me to your cute birdy! Lovely just the way he is......this box looks like it was 'meant to be' like this. If I saw it in a vintage shop, I'd buy it! Beautifully done:):)

  3. Oh dear, sorry to hear you've been poorly. It drains away the creativity. Love this collection, I think it's my favourite ever from Bo-Bunny. LOVE the die cut frame too. How special that your project brought back happy memories of your Gran. I'm teaching our little ones simple card games now and they are fierce competitors!

  4. what a beautiful box Denise! a project without flowers is great )))) this collection is so bright and active, so think you don't need to use a lot of different embellishments ))))

  5. Hi Denise! I hope you are feeling better! I will keep you in my prayers, my friend! And wow! Your trinket box is absolutely GORGEOUS! All of your little details and touches make is just beautiful! Take care of YOU!!!
