Hello Everyone
You have probably wondered if I had fallen off the face of the earth! ;-)
You have probably wondered if I had fallen off the face of the earth! ;-)
I think this is the longest that I have gone without posting.
Apologies...school holidays, a sore back, life busy busy....all of that contributed to me rather crafting, than actually blogging.
Anyways, I am back today with some BoBunny goodness! ;-)
I created a layout 3 ways. Here are the 3 layouts.
So let's take a closer look at that first layout.
I created a fairly simple design, with a watercolour background. I used gesso and a BoBunny stencil.
I then added a few bits and pieces and also used some Pentart wax paste, to rub over the stencilling and water colouring, to give it a gorgeous shimmer.
This is what the background looked like before I added any accents. It shows the stencilling, water colouring and the wax paste.
On the second layout, I added some stamping and some more bits and bobs. I also extended the design out of the right hand side of the page.
On the last layout, I added some stamped and fussy cut images and also added some of those gorgeous crocheted elements.
Here's a closer look.
I used the super, gorgeous new BoBunny stamps and stamped the floral images on some blue BoBunny cardstock and on some yellow Serendipity paper. I then fussy cut these for the floral clusters.
On the next 2 photo's you can clearly see the lovely shimmer from the Pentart wax.
This layout is of one of my scrappy friends and as the little chipboard round on the layout says...she is definitely "One in a Million".
Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today. I really hope to see you back tomorrow.
Have a fabulous day!
Denise x

ReplyDeleteI really love the details, and how you sort of build up the layers. I really love the crochet bits, and the details of the stenciling with the sort of "v" pieces. This is truly a wonderful page, and I love how you have shown the 3 ways to do it.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty page and lovely to see it evolve from simple to more elaborate. Such a lot of work to achieve this stunning result. But that's what makes it fun eh!?
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! The layouts look really fresh!!!
ReplyDeleteVery clever to see it change. I like all three. A lovely layout with a stunning colour combo.
ReplyDeleteGreat triple layout . The colours on all of them compliment your friends dress so well.
