Welcome to Saturday and the weekend and welcome back to my blog! ;-)
Today I have an art journal page to share, that I created a while back and just love the vibrant colours of.
I used some Basic Grey goodies that I have had in my stash for years, along with acrylic paints, distress paints and inks.
The sentiment was also a rub-on that I have had for years and was so pleased that it still worked a charm.
I also used some Tim Holtz stamps, which are some of my favourite.
The colour combo surprised even myself and I was so happy with the way it turned out.
If you haven't tried art journalling, it really does give you the freedom to really play and experiment.
Well I hope you get some time to create and play over the weekend.

This looks amazing, I love the colors and textures and cute birdie and I love the quote too.. some art journalling pages really are such fun and a great way to just have a play! Have a good week end!
