Hi Everyone
Today I want to share a layout I did for the Enmarc challenge. I really loved the sketch that was based on an Alma Carter layout and so was some really great inspiration.
Here is the sketch.
And here is my layout.
I used Websters Pages papers and alphabet stickers and an Enmarc Deco frame and the nature leaves. The paper leaves are Prima and the flock rub on Prima too!
I love how this page came out, but wasn't sure of the flocked rub on in the corner. I think it is okay.
Here are 2 close-ups.
Anyways...thanks for having a look.
Have a great evening.

This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Just Be You - Scrap Africa Sketch #5
Hi Everyone
The weeks go so fast and the weekends even faster! ;-) Time is fleeting....
Anyways, I did a layout for Scrap Africa and am quite happy with the way this page turned out.
The inspiration sketch is this:
And my offering is this:
I used a very old Basic Grey paper range, but just loved it so much and held onto it for such a long time. It's the Sublime Collection - Live Play and Olivia - Desiree with Design Worx chipboards and Prima lettering.
The paper says so much, I did not want to lose the message and so kept the design quite simple.
Here is a close-up, which also allows you to see the writing.
Thanks for popping by...
Have a great Sunday!

Scrap Africa - Challenge Winners
Mother's Day Challenge - Winners
Hello everyone!
It is time to feature our favorite projects you submitted for our Mother's Day Challenge.
But before we do that we want to tell you that we were very excited to see so many amazingly beautiful entries!
Thank you for your wonderful projects!
Unfortunately some of you didn't pay attention to the rules of the challenge
or to the rules of the blog.
There were a few projects that didn't have a phrase dedicated to a mother and then there were projects that you entered into other Mother's Day theme challenges.
It is sad to us that now we can't feature some of our favorites.
Please play according to the rules to avoid disappointment! ♥
***********
Here are the projects that we loved the most:
(South Africa)
(South Africa)
(South Africa / Saudi Arabia)
(South Africa)
Congratulations, ladies! You did a great job!
We would like to ask Denise to join us as a guest designer for one of our future challenges.

Remembering - Prima PPP Challenge
Hi Everyone
I have been so slow at scrapping this week! I don't know what is up with the creativity levels, as they seem to be down! ;-) Anyways, I am hoping that the weekend brings relaxation, creativity and many projects.
I do have a layout to share with you that I completed for the Prima Challenge.
Here is the colour scheme first.
Here is my layout.
Here is another close-up.
I did a gesso wall at the back and then did some fussy cutting into a Madeline Prima Paper.
I love this black and white photo of my Aunt Emily, who was probably in her twenties here. I didn't do some journalling or even a date, as I don't really know much about this photo, except that she was radiant.
Thanks for stopping by today.
I hope you have a scrappy weekend.

Altered Project - Scrap Africa Challenge #4
Hi Everyone
I managed to really get some time last night to put something together for my Mother for Mothers Day tomorrow.
I altered a biscuit tin, so that I could put some goodies together and parcel it inside this altered tin.
So here is the result.

Moments - My Creative Sketches Challenge
Hi Everyone
Hope you are having a good Friday...I just know that I am sooooo glad it's Friday and the weekend has begun!!!
Today I share with you a layout that took me 5 days to complete, as my week was so hectic and filled with family responsibilities. It seems like it took me forever, but eventually I am finished with it! ;-)
Here is the sketch.
And here is my take on it. I hope that photo's are okay, as it is overcast outside and not the best light to be taking photo's in.
I had created a previous layout with the BG Plumeria Papers and had some leftovers, which I really wanted to use. I also used Enmarc chipboards and Prima Flowers and title.
Here are some close-ups and also of the journalling.
Thanks for popping in!
Hope you have a super Friday and a restful weekend.

My Son-Shine - Once Upon a Sketch/Berry 71 Bleu
Hi Everyone
Today has been such a great day to chill! I hope you have had a good day too...
I want to share a layout which I have done for Once Upon a Sketch and also Berry 71 Bleu Challenge. Both challenges related to Motherhood and so that was certainly a no brainer for me, as I knew it would obviously include my son.
So here is the sketch.
And here is my take on it.
Materials used: BG Plumeria papers, Chiswick stamp, Prima letters and flowers, Enmarc corner and chipboard spray, Scrapbook King rub ons and Shimmer Mist.
The photo I used is just a precious one to me and hopefully conveys the love that I have for my son and he for me. He really is a little hero to me and has grown me in so many ways. I love being his Mommy and treasure his love and our relationship. There is a saying that "children are such a great way to grow people" and that is certainly true of Joe.
I have some hidden journalling behind the photo and is on a little tag with the purple ribbon.
Here are some close-ups.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Hope you've had a scrappy day.

Sweet Girl - Pinterest Challenge - Let's Scrap
Hi Everyone
I am hosting another challenge at Let's Scrap here and this is all about Pinterest and what "mojo" you get from an image.
Here is the image that I chose.
I created the leaves from an Old Sticker leftover and made a template and also handmade the big flowers. I used Teresa Collins - Spring Fling Damask paper, Making Memories paper, Cloud 9 Design letters and an Enmarc Doilie, Prima Flowers and a My Minds Eye banner.
Here are the two halves.
Thanks for visiting today!
Have a great weekend!

Get Creative Challenge - Mermaid
Hi Everyone
I had all good intentions of getting this layout in for the Get Creative challenge.
When I started writing this post yesterday I realised with quite a start, that I did not have a title or name for my layout. I think I must be going crazy!!! So I had to go back and add my title and then take a photo. So I missed the deadline for yesterday. Oh well....I enjoyed and created this layout anyway!!
So here is the sketch.
And here is my layout.
I used Modelling paste over the corrugated cardboard to give this layout texture and also added the woodgrain rub ons for texture as well.
Materials used: Fabscraps paper, MME Love Me Do papers and corrugated cardboard, Echo Park block letters, Studio Calico Rub ons, Prima Flowers and muslin bandage.
Some close-ups for good measure.
Okay...well thanks for visiting here today.
It is always much appreciated.
Have a great day!
