Hello Everyone
The rain finally let up today, so I was actually able to take a photo of the page I want to share.
It is for the CSI/Scrap365 challenge here.
I loved the soft colours of this challenge and so did some de-stashing.
I used Pink Paislee Sweetness Collection, along with some Enmarc Chipboards, Prima and Petaloo flowers.
I did some gesso stencilling on the background as well.
Evidence: Vertical strips, flowers, pearls, texture paste, silver accent
Testimony: The word "Sparkle"
My journalling is about this sweet neice of mine, when she was about 3 years old. She really was so very soft, sweet and at just a wonderful age. We were very close.
So my journalling says: "You absolutely sparkle and shine. You are such a sweet Little girl. I love your smile and your radiance. Keep the smile on your face and the joy in your heart".
Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a super evening!

This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Enjoy Every Second - BoBunny Elf Magic
Hello Everyone
I hope that you are still resting and perhaps scrapping. I am back at work, but it is really so very quiet, that I have had lots of time to catch up on all my blog following and commenting! ;-)
I am up on the BoBunny blog today with a Christmas page here and it would be great if you could pop along and see the other gorgeous pages! ;-)

Elf Magic is such a fun and festive collection and I had this photo from 2 years ago, that is just perfect with this collection! Santa's little helpers are just so sweet!
Christmas is certainly such a fun time for children and my son cannot wait for Santa to come and make his yearly visit! He has written his letter to Santa and so I hope Santa brings him what he asked for!
Christmas is all about lights and shiny balls and beautiful decorations and so my page would not be complete without some bling and Elf Magic Jewels.
BoBunny Supplies:
Patterned paper: Chevron, Stripe, Dot, Tinsel/ Elf Magic
Stickers: Elf Magic Combo Sticker
Noteworthy: Elf Magic
Brads: Elf Magic
Jewels: Elf Magic
Chipboard: 12 x 12/ Elf Magic

Tis the Season to be Jolly - CSI Case File no.103
Hello Everyone
Merry Christmas to you all! I hope you had a super, fun and festive day yesterday!
We had a lovely day with family yesterday, even though it was very quiet and it was a cool and rainy day!
I have a page that I have finished for the CSI Case File no. 103.
I used the fun and festive BoBunny Elf Magic Collection, which was perfect for this challenge.
Evidence:Stars, Circles, Horizontal Lines
Testimony: Journalling/Title with "Season"
I absolutely love this time of year! It means family, festivities, fun and just being absolutely jolly! ;-)
These fun photo's were taken at Renaissance Village at the Christmas house! Joe and I put on Christmas hats and Johann was joking and making us laugh for the camera. As you can see I was just saying "cheese" and Joe was really trying to keep his antlers on the top of his head, because they kept slipping off! ;-)
My journalling tag behind our photo says:
For me, the festive season is about spending time with my family. On 20 Dec we went to see the Christmas house at Aunty Steph's Renaissance Village. It was absolutely amazing to see all the lights and Christmas goodies. We took fun photo's, had lots of laughs and were absolutely jolly! It was so fun and good to enjoy this time together!
I did some gesso stencilling, which was a little smudgy, the different paper layers were making the stencilling difficult. In the end, I don't think it matters too much, it all adds to this page. I was just a little disappointed that the some of the gesso went a little pink on the red papers.

Christmas Tag - Recycling
Hi Everyone
I am busy wrapping up some parcels and making tags and cards, as I go along. It's also a beautiful day in Africa, with beautiful sunshine and warmth.
I have a recycling project that I want to share with you, and that is a gift that I have put together for my aunt.
Firstly the bag is from last years gifts and I am re-using it for this years gifts. I have also used a BoBunny jewels packaging as the base for my tag.
The flowers are diecuts from Elf Magic papers.
I love to re-use things and certainly get the most out of every scrap goodie that I have. I try not to waste anything, because at some point, every little scrap will find it's place! ;-)
Do you re-use and keep scraps?
Thanks so much for popping by!
Have a super, festive Sunday!

Christmas Card - Bo Bonny Silver & Gold
Hello Everyone
I have been so busy this morning! First I did some painting touch ups, then I cleaned up around the house. Then I still went shopping and then came home and then I was doing some table clearing in my scrappy room! It was starting to look a bit dire!!
So eventually I have now sat down and thought I would share a quick card with you. I have so loved the Silver & Gold Collection from Bo Bunny and I have loved the cards I have made. Here is another.
I still have a few more to make before Christmas, so I need to get cracking!
Have a super Saturday!

Christmas Tag - Prima PPP Dec
Hello Everyone
I really have been enjoying my creating lately and it has been fun playing and experimenting. I unfortunately had to go back to work today, but still hope to find lots of scrappy time.
I created a tag for the Prima PPP for Dec and these were the colours.
Here is my tag.
I used all my bits and bobs of Prima leftovers and was quite happy with the end result.
Here are some close-ups for good measure.
I will definitely be using this on one of my gifts.
Thanks so much for popping in!
Have a good evening!

I Love My December Daisies - CSI Case File #102
Hello Everyone
I loved the Case File over at CSI and so just had to make time to play along! Check out the colours and the sketch.
Here is my take on it.
Evidence: Leaves, circles and doodling
Testimony: Love
My journalling says exactly what this page is about:
I absolutely love December because then my garden is awash in white, as the daisies are in bloom! This is also always the sign of summer and hot weather! They are so striking in their numbers! Bloomin' marvelous!
I had this daisy stamp that I have been wanting to use for ages and this was the perfect page to use it for. So I stamped the daisies and then fussy cut them, along with the yellow middle! They really look so pretty and I am so pleased that I eventually made use of this stamp.
The papers and stickers are Echo Park, For the Record 2.
Thanks so much for popping by...
I really appreciate your visits.

Favourite Time December - OUAS Dec Challenge
Hello Everyone
I am so pleased that today is a public holiday and hubby is at home, so we are all just chilling and it's a beautiful summers day.
I have a page to share with you today for the Dec OUAS challenge. Here is the sketch.
Journalling Theme: "My favorite month"
So here is my take on it.
The title of the page is Favourite Time December and is really my most favourite month! Behind the photo to the right you will see a little card peeking out and that is where my journalling is. It's a "Treasure" card and says: I love the month of December as it is then summer, with beautiful, hot summery days! I always take some leave and spend time with Joe! We go on little excursions and this was out trip to the Bunny Park last week. There is nothing better than relaxing days and time spent together! It's a festive month and everything we do is celebratory, even if just celebrating good weather!
I went with a grungy look to compliment the photo and used various bits and pieces to bring it together.
I coloured and embossed the cogs so that they look rusty and old! The metal accents were also coloured with inks so that they also have an old feel to them.
Materials used:
Kaisercraft papers and journalling card
Fancy Pants Designs corrugated board and stickers
Enmarc chipboard cogs and chicken wire
Prima stencil
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a super Monday!

A Snowy Day in Africa - Scrap Africa Challenge no. 24
Hello Everyone
We have a new challenge up at Scrap Africa and even though it is a really busy time of the year, it would be great if you could play along.
The challenge is glitter, snowflakes and masking.
Here is my page.
I used the super Woodland Winter collection from BoBunny and it was perfect for this snowy page.
I had cut the snowflakes with a diecut through the Cuttlebug, and then used the remaining form as a template for my masking! It worked really well! ;-)
My journalling says this: It is such a rare occurance that it snows in Johannesburg. So when it does, it is an amazing sight and definitely awesome! To see the gardens all white and fluffy was magic! 07 Aug 2012.
The glitter is a little hard to see, but is definitely there! ;-) On the edges of the little brown flowers, there is gold glitter for some bling!
Well I hope you will pop over and hand a look at the amazing inspiration, and hopefully play along!
Have a super day!

Me - Prima BAP Dec
Hello Everyone
I really thought today that I should have been a duck, because with the amount of rain we have had, it would have been bliss, had I been a ducky! ;-)
I loved the Prima BAP sketch this month and I created a page that I am really happy with, even though it is quite different from my normal Prima pages. I took some photo's today and I really hope that they are okay, since many days of overcast weather has not made for easy photography! So I apologise if the lighting is not perfect.

Here is my take on the sketch.
I used the All About Me collection and created a page about exactly that Me. I turned 42 on the 02 Nov this year and this photo was taken on the day!
(Here is a shot taken in much better light, that I came and added in afterwards.)
I did some gesso stencilling and then some watercolouring! It was so much fun and so very messy!!!! LOL
But love the result!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope the sun shines tomorrow...
Have a super evening!

Joe Just Can't Get Enough - Scrapfriends Dec Sketch Challenge
Hi Everyone
I hope that you had a super weekend and that Monday has been gentle on you! ;-)
I have a page to share for the sketch up at ScrapFriends here. This is the sketch.
Here is my take on it.
I mirrored the sketch and really kept quite close to the sketch, as I really loved this design.
I used gesso and the corrugated board to add texture, and then used washi tapes as well.

My title I stamped with BoBunny alpha stamps.
Joe loves the sea and once he is in, it is an absolute mission to get him out! He can be going blue with cold, but swim he will swim! He just loves every moment and it's just never enough...so the reason for my title! ;-)
These colours worked really well for a sea scape and I was pleased with the end result.

Beauty - SATW Challenge Dec 2013
Hello Everyone
I was like a hawk today, waiting for the sun to come out behind the clouds, so that I could get some good photo's of this page I want to share! Everyday it has been starting off overcast and then perhaps the sun comes out...but some days it has not! It surely has not made it easy for photography!
Okay, so here is the SATW challenge this month.
I loved the soft colours of this challenge, the aqua's and pinks and the sketch was also inspiration for my page.
I used the Love You Madly collection by Glitz Design...these papers were just perfect for this challenge.
I used a lot of diecuts, and they certainly added to the softness of this page.
This photo was taken recently, when my brother-in law remarrried and this is his beautiful wife. She really did look stunning.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a super evening!
