Hi Everyone
I hope you are having a super weekend and finding a little bit of scrappy time! ;-)
I finished a page yesterday for the OUAS challenge and is quite a special page for me.
Journalling Theme: "I'll never forget"
I decided on a vintage page as it was perfect for my theme.
This page is called "Remember" and the photo was taken many years ago, probably about 40 years ago. This was taken at a wedding and from left to right is my Uncle Sam, Aunty Sonia, Granny Sally and Grandpa Joe. These are the grandparents on my father's side and I was really close to them, especially my Grandmother.
My Grandpa Joe passed away before I even started school and my Grandmother passed away when I was 16. I loved her dearly and there is hardly a week that passes, without me thinking about her! My son Joe is named after Grandpa Joe and I am so very proud to have Joe, have his name.
There are very missed and thought of often! I hope they are looking down on me and seeing my life and the beautiful son I now have! I know how they loved us, and I hope they know how much I still really love them.
BTW, my journalling is behind my page.
I have always been a BoBunny fan and, as you can imagine, I am an even bigger fan now! This Weekend Market Collection was perfect for this page. The brown flower is BoBunny and the small ones Petaloo.
My title, chipboard and bricks are embossed with antique powders and I love how they turned out! If you wonder why I have a small "e" in the title is was absolutely planned! (not!). I was stamping away and used my E and then next minute heard something fall! When I looked again, I could not see my E. After 5 minutes of searching my ink was starting to dry and so went with the small "e". You can imagine the frustration!! So after another 10min of looking (yes 10 min) I eventually found it had fallen behind a box. Sjoe!!!
Thanks for stopping by, I hope you have a super day!
