This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Sketch no.58 - Scrap Africa

Hello Everyone

We have a new sketch up on the blog, for the new month, at Scrap Africa.

I had recently gone with 2 friends, sisters, to a ladies tea and we had the best time! We had such a laugh and it was just so very good for the soul! ;-) My friend took some photo's with her camera and so I wanted to scrap them.  The photo quality was not so great, but I scrapped them anyway.  I wanted to remember and document that morning.

I created a canvas.

I used Prima Garden Fable papers and accents, along with a Blue Fern chipboard .

I recycled a delicate scarf, that after much wear and washing, just started to fall apart.  So the white lace used is from that beautiful scarf.

These rose clusters from Prima were perfect for this design and page.

There had to be some fussy cutting...LOL...so these pretty roses were perfect for that! ;-)

Maybe you can play along....we would love if it you could.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a super evening!

  2. Oh, you have done a stunning job on this page.....& I am so with you re: scrapping memories. So what if the photos aren't perfect, they still bring back those fabulous memories, which is the whole purpose, as far as I'm concerned! LOOOOVE that you've used an old scarf.....adore the round chippy behind it all.....just think you've done the BEST job here:))
