Hello Everyone
I hope that you had a good weekend! ;-)
We had a really chilly and wet weekend in Johannesburg and so it was a good opportunity to get some scrappy time in.
I haven't been able to play along with the Prima challenges for months and so thought it was a good time to try and play along.
Here's the sketch.
I recently got hold of the Vintage Emporium collection and I knew that it would be perfect for a vintage, masculine page. So here's the result.
I loved playing with the background textures, stamping etc. and I am really happy with the result.
I kept the flowers to a minimum, since being a masculine page and don't think they make it too flowery.
I love the rusty, orange colouring in this paper and really wanted to bring it out more.
I even used some older bits of Prime pieces and was pleased that I was able to use from my stash.
This handsome man is my father. He was probably around 20 here and he sure was very handsome and suave. He is still handsome and at 70 plus years old, he is still amazing! ;-)
It has been ages since I last did a layout and I can't tell you how much I enjoyed creating this page.
I actually can't wait to get started on the next one.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
I really appreciate your visits!
