General Card - FabScraps - A Moment in Time Collection

Hello Everyone

I was recently up on the FabScraps blog with another general card! ;-)
I also handmade some flowers for this card!
I love making flowers and I love adding them to my cards.


I also have a step by step tutorial.

For This Project You Will Need:
  • FabScraps A Moment in Time paper range: C109 001, C109 008, C109 002
  • Grey and green cardstock
  • Tim Holtz Distress Oxides: Fired Brick and Peeled Paint
  • Dies: Circle, Flower Set, Leaves, Decorative circle and small flower and leaf set
  • White Gel Pen
  • White pearls
  • 4 white resin corners
  • Art Accentz Micro Beadz – Silver
  • Lace
Instructions:
  1. Sizzix Big Shot Machine:
  • Cut 2x the flower set from from the grey stripey patterned paper
  • Make 2x flowers and assemble the flower layers with glue.
  • Add glue and micro beadz to the flower centres and ink the edges with Fired Brick
  • Cut 2x the small flower and leaf set dies from the stripey grey patterned paper and ink the edges with Fired Brick and Peeled Paint. Add white pearls to the centres of the flowers
  • Cut 1x decorative circle from the pink lacey patterned paper and ink with Fired Brick
  • Cut 1x circle die from the C109 001 patterned paper and ink the edges with Fired Brick.
  • Cut 2x leaf dies from the green cardstock. Add highlights with a white gel pen.
  1. Cut the lacey side of the C109 008 patterned paper for a folded card 14cmx14cm. Rou Ink the edges with fired brick distress oxide ink. Round the corners.
  2. Cut a 12,5cmx12,5cm piece of card from the grey cardstock. Ink the edges with fired brick distress oxide ink and adhere to the card background. Round the corners.
  3. Adhere the 4 resin corners to the grey square on the card.
  4. Add the circle to the centre of the card, with the decorative circle to the left of this background circle. Layer the flowers, leaves, small flower and leaf set and lace, as per the photo.
  5. All Done!
