My Little Star Tag - ScrapBerry's

Hello Friends

I created a tag, using some Tim Holtz products and My Little Star collection from ScrapBerry's.

This is such a sweet collection.

I fussy cut the sweet little elements.

I created the background, with a paint resist technique.

You sponge paint through a stencil and allow it to dry. Then add distress inks and colours and the paint resists this.

I will definitely be using this on a baby shower gift.

Wedding Card - BoBunny Bella Rosa Collection

Hello Everyone

A friend at work asked me to make a card for a wedding that they were going to.

It wasn't a difficult choice and so I reached for the pretty BoBunny Bella Rosa collection.

I was asked not to add too many flowery elements, as the bride is not really into flowers and flowery things. If anyone know me, I just looooove flowers, so I had to keep myself in check.

I used die-cuts and layers, rather than flowers.

Just 3 leeeeetle flowers! ;-))))

Go Team Go - BoBunny Game On Collection

Hello Everyone

I have sooo many projects that I can share with you.

I really have been concentrating on creating, rather than blogging and so there is now quite a few to share here on my blog.

This photo was taken in January.  My son is part of the swimming team at school and I was able to support him at this gala.  It was so much fun and he swam like a champion! ;-)

This collection really has such fabulous chippies and little bits.

It includes most of the sports...so is sooo versatile and gorgeous.

Sweet Moment Layout - Penelope Dee Tea Time

I have another Penelope Dee layout to share with you today.

I entered it for the last Trocraft/Penelope Dee competition.

I did not have a lot of this collection left, so I really did have to scrounge some of the papers and bits.

Here are the close-ups of the clusters.

I used lots of die-cuts and also fussy cut quite a few leafy elements.

The chipboard pieces were pieces from Enmarc.

I love this photo of my neices.  They are gorgeous,young ladies now.

They were sweet girlies then.

Discover Mixed Media Page - Penelope Dee Go See Do

Hello Everyone

I recently had the good fortune of playing with some Penelope Dee products.

There is a fabulous new travel collection, Go See Do.

I created this page.

I loved the earthy colours of this collection and then added in the red, just to add a bright elemement. It matched with the photo's and so was the best choice.

Here are some close-ups.

On the chipboard piece I used gesso and then added all purpose ink. It made for a fabulous vintage look.

I used stamping and die-cuts for the various layers on this page.

These photo's were taken in Dullstroom, a few years ago.  I think Joe was only 3 here.

It's always so special to look back at these photo's and remember good times.
