Wonderful - ScrapFriends Nov Sketch Challenge

Hi Everyone

Happy Monday and hope you had a super day!

We are having another African thunderstorm, with lightning, rain and thunder, but it's warm and humid, so hopefully by morning everything will be fresh and clean again.

I played along with the ScrapFriends challenge here this month and used some of my The Avenues Collection.
It really is a stunning collection.



Here's my take on it.


This photo was just perfect for these papers! We had stayed at a French little hotel, down at the coast and so these papers were just the thing.


I used a Prima stencil for the cobbled wall effect and some Prima flowers and stamens.


I also played with my gelato's and added a watercolour effect beneath the central feature.

    A fabulous interpretation of the sketch using real feathers...the blue paper looks tre chic and I love the fleur de lis accent...as always, a sweet photo of your DS is the focal point :)

    What a sweet page! I think that all the architectural elements that you used, such as the stone wall paper and the shutters/doors, really bring something special to the layout.
