This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Cherish Mixed media Canvas - Little Birdie Crafts

Hello Everyone

Today I am back with a mixed media canvas that I did for Little Birdie crafts a while back.
I really enjoyed my DT time with them and loved their products, especially their blooms.

For this project I used Fairy Sparkle.

Below are some photo's showing the creative process.

I re-used Little Birdie packaging and bits for this canvas.

Thereafter the blooms, fussy cut bits and bobs were layered and added.

Here are the projects details.

For This Project You Will Need:
·         Little Birdie Crafts: Fairy Sparkle Paper Collection & embelishments
·         Little Birdie Crafts Stencil: Honeycomb
·         Little Birdie Crafts Packaging
·         Little Birdie Crafts Chipboard: Keys
·         Little Birdie Crafts Flowers
·         Little Birdie Crafts Acrylic Paint: Driftwood
·         Little Birdie Crafts Crackle Paste
·         Little Birdie Crafts Gesso
·         Canvas Board 20cm x 30cm & Wood Corners Inserts
·         Distress Paint – Gathered Twigs
·         Distress Oxide – Worn Lipstick
·         Water spray bottle and canvas

Instructions:
1.      Using the crackle paste and stencil, stencil randomly around the canvas. Allow this to dry.
2.      Spray water over the canvas and then dab Driftwood acrylic paint in and around the stencilling. Allow the paint to run and seep into the stencilling. Allow this to dry.
3.      Using the packaging bits, raise and adhere them, as per the photo’s. Outline with Gathered Twigs distress paint and a brush.
4.      Adhere the canvas wood corner inserts and paint with Gathered Twigs distress paint. Once dry, use a dry brush and add gesso highlights.
5.      Adhere the keys to the canvas, as per the photo’s.
6.      Fussy cut bits from the patterned papers and use bits from the embellishment pack to layer on the canvas.
7.      Add flowers and leaves to create the clusters, in and around the fussy cut bits and embelishments.
8.      Using a dry brush add gesso highlights.
9.      Lastly colour the chipboard title with Worn Lipstick and adhere to the canvas, as per the photo’s.
10.  All Done!

Thanks ever so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a fabulous day!
