This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Birthday Card - Scrap Africa Sketch Challenge no.32

Hello Everyone

I hope you are having a good and restful weekend! I had a class yesterday morning and then met up with Svetlana Austin in the afternoon, as she was visiting family for the weekend! It was really lovely to meet her, even if just for a short time! ;-)

We have a new challenge over at Scrap Africa and it's a gorgeous sketch created by Marta. She also created a super video tutorial, which you really do not want to miss.  Please pop over and have a look.

I needed to make a card for a friend for her 50th birthday and so I used the sketch.

I used Graphic 45 Secret Garden Papers and accents and did some fussy cutting too.

Di Garling is also our Special Guest Designer and she created a beautiful page for us. So pop over....you gonna love it!!!! It would be awesome if you could play along too.

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a super Sunday!

Enjoy Every Minute of Everyday - Scrap 365 July Sketch

Hello Everyone

Wow...I can't believe it's the 01st August! The time is just flying!

It's my Dad's birthday today as well, and so wishing my Dad a super Birthday!

I completed a page for the Scrap365 July Sketch.

I turned the sketch on it's side and this is what I came up with.

I used Fancy Pants Collecting Moments collection.  Along with that I also used some Enmarc chippies, some Basic Grey chippies and the Kaisercraft Love card.

I did some watercolour drips over my stickers strips, along with some gesso stencilling and then stamped.

I love this page of my 2 boys! ;-)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hope you have a super weekend!

Party Packs - Our Lil Monster BoBunny

Hello Everyone

It is 2 days to my boys birthday and so we had a wonderful afternoon at the bike park, with a few of his friends and they enjoyed an afternoon of riding and cycling.  It really was so cool!

I only had 10 party packs to make and so I used some BoBunny kraft bags and Our Lil Monster collection, to decorate them.

Here is a closer look at 1 or 2 of them, as I am sure you will be bored if we have to go through each and every one! ;-)

I put their names on each and tried to match up a few more feminine elements when they were for a girl.
So in this case.....a monster eye flower!!!!! ;-))

My sister made this really cool cake for Joe and he was really thrilled.

And lastly...here is the boy in action.

Tomorrow I have a family lunch here at home, so by the evening I am sure I will be quite pooped!!!

Anyways, I hope you have a super evening!
Thanks for popping in!

Tags - Scrapbooking Memories Websters Pages

Hello Everyone

I got the new Scrapbooking Memories and it had some really gorgeous free paper from Websters Pages.
Scrapbooking Memories Vol 16 No 11

So at my scrap and chat last Thursday night, I started making some tags with these papers.

I was thrilled when Vanessa at Scrapbooking Memories shared them on their FB page! ;-)

Here they are.

It just goes to show that any pretty papers, no matter the source, can be used to create something pretty.

Here are the individual tags.

I used the beautiful flowers from Prima...they are really so stunning and then just added cardstock and a few other bits.

Have you created something lately from a magazine freebie?

Have a super evening!

Make Waves - Sketchabilities #119

Hello Everyone

I have a page to share with you today for the Sketchabilities #119 sketch.

I have been wanting to do a beachy page of Joe, for a while now and this sketch just lent itself to the idea in my head.  So I created a mixed media page.

I used the super Pink Paislee collection, Nantucket. I really do love it.

I used some real shells, along with my chippies and woody pieces.

For the sun I cut a circle from one of the yellow patterned papers and really liked these little seahorses facing one another.  Then I just added some thready wool and it became a sun! I thought it turned out nicely.

I used lots of paint, sprays, stamps, dry walling tape and gesso. I really did enjoy playing with all of these mediums.

Overall, it still has a pretty clean look....

This photo was taken last year, when Joe and I were at Salt Rock in September...it really was such a nice time for us and we really did have a blast!

Thanks so much for popping by.
I hope you have a super evening!
