This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

"One Little Word" - January Challenge Berry71Bleu

Hello Everyone!

I am up on the Berry71Bleu blog  today with our first challenge of 2014!
Since it's a new year, with new aspirations, dreams and wishes, our challenge this month is about that very thing! What is your "One Little Word" for 2014 and what does it mean for you?
Where would you like to place your focus this year?

Create a page, canvas or whatever you like, which tells us about your "One Little Word" for 2014.

I created a page and my layout is about "My One Little Word" - "Content".
So much of our lives are about the thinking, that we really don't have this and we really don't have that.
So instead of counting and acknowledging the things and blessings we do have, we perhaps focus on the things and blessings we do not have.
So my focus this year is to really see and acknowledge the abundance in my life and to be content with what I have, before I can even think of wanting more.

Here is the page I created using the beautiful Berry71Bleu tag that Marivic sent me.

I used Graphic 45 Secret Garden papers and accents, along with some Petaloo and Prima flowers.

Here is a close-up of the gorgeous tag.

You can also have a read of my journalling below.

You have until the 31st January to upload your project and we really look forward to seeing what you create.

  7. What a beautiful page & sentiment. If only everyone were like you & content with their lot the world would be far nicer! I have chosen the word Transcend this year as I have certain things I want to achieve & need to push myself to get there :)
