Valentine's Cards - BoBunny - Sweet Clementine

Hello Everyone

I know that Valentine's Day was ages ago!!

However, since I am so behind in posting, I still have some cards to share with you! LOL

Anyways, I used the BoBunny Sweet Clementine Collection.

I soooooooo love this collection! ;-)

I also handmade my own flowers for these cards and just love how they turned out.

The leaf die is one of my favourites from BoBunny too. 

For the second card I again created my own flowers and went with the addition of the black colouring.

I used black swirl dies from BoBunny in the flower clusters.

BoBunny Supplies:

Patterned Paper: Sweet Clementine, Enjoy, Delight, Butterflies, Memories / Sweet Clementine

Cardstock: Sweet Pear Vintage, Licorice Double Dot

Chipboard: Combo Stickers / Sweet Clementine

Pearlescent: Butterscotch, Licorice

Doiley: Small

Dies: Lovely Leaf, Flourish

It is so rewarding to make one's own flowers and since I have heaps and heaps of patterned papers, this is really economical for me! ;-)

Thinking of You Card - BoBunny Stamps

Hello Everyone

I hope that you are having a good week!

I am back with a "Thinking of You" card today, which was created with a whole lot of BoBunny stamps.

I used distress inks and distress oxides to colour the card, flowers and leaves.

I also used BoBunny pearlescent to add dimension to the flower centres.

I love my stamps and I would not be able to create without them at all.

They are definitely a crafting staple.

Friendship Card

Hello Everyone

Today I am sharing a friendship card, that I made for a friend of mine.

We have a "Desperate Housewives" group that meets every Tuesday and it really is such soul food for me! So one of the ladies has been through a really tough time over the last few months and the group crocheted her a beautiful blanket and we gave her a card.

Here is the card that I made.

I used orange and yellow acrylic paint and a sponge to create the background and then stamped with some brown ink and a BoBunny stamp.

The big sunflower I stamped and coloured with the same acrylic paints and just used a lit bit of water to get the paint moving easier. I then used BoBunny Pearlescent to add the black seeds in the centre.

I've had this Petaluma stamp for ages. It's certainly one of my favourites.

General Tag - Graphic 45 / Sizzix

Hello Everyone

2 posts in 1 day! I can back to share another project with you...a general tag.

I dove into my stash again and used some French Country from Graphic 45 and a Sizzix die cut that is really so gorgeous! ;-)

Here's the tag.

I just love this collection because of the beautiful sunflowers. Sadly I have used every little last sunflower on this tag. But yes, there was no wastage of any little scrap! ;-)

I have wanted to use this die for ages now and so I was pleased that I got to use it on this tag.

Here's a closer look.  I used some gold pearlescents for highlights.

I also used some black pearlescents for the dots.

Christmas Gift - BoBunny Cardstock and Bling

Hello Everyone

I am sitting her in my study with the roof fan going and really hoping that we will get some rain this afternoon. We have had a heat wave for the last 2 weeks or so, with temperatures going up to 39C, virtually every day.

It has been incredibly hot and have had very little rain!!

We could really do with a little cooling down!! ;-)

Anyways....

I gave my Mother a Christmas present this year, which I just slightly altered with some cardstock and some bling from BoBunny.

Here's what it looked like before alteration.

I punched some doiley circles with a Martha stewart circle punch for the inside.

I then added some BoBunny pearls.

For the outside, I added some ribbon around the edge and then some deocration on top.

I added some blue pearlescent too....which was really such a cool way to add a little bling too.

Just a few little touches can make quite a difference.

My Mom loved it, so I was really pleased about that.  It is sitting on her dressing table in her room!

U & Me - Scrap Africa Challenge no.48

There is a new sketch challenge up on the blog at Scrap Africa.  Here's the sketch.

I created a page of my sister and I, when we were just wee girls! ;-)

This Garden Journal Collection from BoBunny is just amazing! It is so beautiful and gorgeous!

Here's some close-ups.

I used the stickable stencils and some ink for the background swirls.  I also used a Tim Holtz stencil and BoBunny pearlescents for the background dots. The gorgeous delicate photo frame is also a new die-cut from BoBunny, which I just know is going to be a favourite of mine! ;-)
