This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Love Card - BoBunny Bella Rosa & Sizzix

Hello Everyone

I hope you had a super Friday.

I made a quick card and used some BoBunny Bella Rosa along with

Sizzix Framelits Die Set 5PK - Labels, Fancy

I love these framelit die-cuts from Sizzix.
Pop over here to see more of these framelit sets.

I used a BoBunny stickable stencil and some distress ink to create that sweet little border too.

Sometimes quick and easy does the trick! ;-)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Vintage Tags - BoBunny Farmers Market

Hello Everyone

I sooo love making tags and I have so enjoyed playing and experimenting with the various inks and techniques.

So for one of my BoBunny projects I created some vintage tags, using the Farmers Market Collection.

I fussy cut a lot of the elements and created the backgrounds with stencils, gesso and stamping.

Here's a closer look at the 3 tags.

I so love how these turned out. I will definitely use them on gifts.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog today and thanks for always leaving me some love!
I really do appreciate it!

Have a super day!

Mixed Media Canvas - BoBunny Garden Journal

Hello Everyone

I hope you are having a restful but creative weekend! ;-)

I have been very busy lately with all my DT assignments, as well as class projects.
So I really have been keeping out of trouble and getting my creative nose down! ;-)

I did a mixed media canvas class 2 weekends back and used some of my favourite BoBunny goodies.

This is a 40cm x 30cm canvas.
I used the Garden Journal collection from BoBunny, along with some BoBunny stamps and stencils.

One can add photo's to this canvas but I chose not to and have left some space for some journalling thoughts that I want to add.

Here's some close-ups.

The flowers are handmade and created by layering up some flower die-cuts.

I really have been trying to use goodies and papers from my stash and this older BoBunny collection was perfect! ;-) So thumbs up for de-stashing! LOL

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
I hope you have a fabulous day!

Sharon - Berry71Bleu May Challenge/ BoBunny Beautiful Dreamer

Hello Everyone

Apologies for my blog having been so quiet this past week.
My sister had a huge health scare over the last 2 weeks and it meant that I had to just help out a little and do a few extra things...so in between work and family, creating came last.

Thankfully my sister is okay and I am so relieved and this page I created is to celebrate this fact.

This page is for the Berry71Bleu challenge this month.

Check out this gorgeous mood board.

Here is my page.

I used the gorgeous Beautiful Dreamer collection from BoBunny, along with some BoBunny stickable stencils, stamps and more! ;-)

Here's a close-up.

I used a lovely photo of my sister that was taken in a photo shoot about a year ago.  It's just a lovely and soft photo of her.

These past 2 weeks were really emotional and it was always our biggest hope and belief that she would be okay.  So yes, I wanted to add this little part to the page.

I love the softness that I was able to put into this page.

Anyways, there is still some time to play along with the Berry71Bleu mood board this month.
Why not pop over and have a look at the inspiration.

Have a beautiful Sunday!

Birthday Card - BoBunny Believe Collection

Hello Everyone

I have a Birthday Card to share with you.
I used the Believe Collection, along with some odd BoBunny alpha's that I have had for a long time.

Here's the fun card I created.

I first stuck down the alpha's and then used a stickable stencil with some pigment ink to create the purple circles.

I used a black fine liner to outline some of the elements and also allow them to stand out.

I think this design was a super way to use up odd alpha's and also add interest to the background.

Anyways, thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a super evening!

More Circle Tags - BoBunny

Hello Everyone

I had so much fun creating the Genevieve circle tags that I created some Christmas one's too! @ Lizzy....yes I had that idea too with these Typo tags! LOL

I used the super Dear Santa Collection from BoBunny, along with some BoBunny stickable stencils!

The two round one's above also have some gesso and liquid pearls on, for a mixed media effect.

Here's a look at the individual tags. On this one I used crackle paste and liquid pearls.

The one below is created with stickable stencils and distress inks.

This one is gesso and distress inks.

And the last 2 just distress inks and stickable stencils.

I am so pleased with how these tags came out and it's a good addition to my Christmas needed goodies! ;-)  They were also so much fun to make and relatively easy too! ;-)

Hows your Christmas goodies coming along?

Have a super evening!

Ain't Life Sweet - Scrap Africa Sketch no.50

Hello Everyone

There is a super sketch challenge up at Scrap Africa.

Here is the sketch.

I had so much fun with this sketch and was so thrilled with the way my page turned out.

I used the Forever Young Collection from BoBunny. I just love the fresh colours.

The chippies are Blue Fern Studios pieces.  The circle I heat embossed and the swirls I just colour inked and then highlighted with white acrylic paint.

I had so much fun with the background, using the stickable stencils and gesso, along with stamps and watercolour and paints.

The photo is of my niece and was from a little photo shoot that we did last year.

I simply love this page...as I think I really captured the freshness of youth and life, with the colours, styling and design!

Maybe you can find some scrappy time to play along with us.  You have until 14 May.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a super Friday!

Adventures - Safari Collection - BoBunny

Hello Everyone

I hope you have been having a restful and crafty weekend!

I had some fun in my scrap room this weekend and created this fun little page of my son. I think Joe was just over 1 year old here and was so very, very sweet.

My Mom and Dad have this huge bush in the garden and my Dad shapes it.  It is normally a bit of a round ball, with a flat side on the top. On this day he put Joe on top of this bush and was closely watching him to see what his reaction would be.  Joe just sat and looked down into the garden below.
He was so sweet....and held onto the leaves...just like a little monkey! ;-)

Eventually he starting clambering and crawling towards the edge of the bush, and of course, my Dad was there to catch him! ;-)

I used the Safari Collection from BoBunny and the colouring was perfect for this page! It was also perfect for this fun, little boy themed page.

I did some watercolouring, which is always such fun for me! I used some Lettuce Distress paint here and it came out wonderfully!

I used my white gel pen around the chippies and the photo wood frame matting.  I did not want them to get lost in the background and so was a great way to give them definition.

Safari is obviously a travel and Zoo collection...but can definitely be used for other themed type projects and this is just one example.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Have a super Sunday!
