This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Birthday Cards - ScrapBerry's & Altenew Stamp Sets

Hello Everyone

I hope that your countdown to Christmas is not too busy and frantic.

I have had lots of classes and many events and it's been really hectic, but all good! ;-)

I created some cards for a friend at work.  Her daughter was having a Birthday.

Here are the cards I made.  2 very different cards! ;-)

On the one below I used some Altenew stamps, along with a Sizzix die-cut.

Sizzix Thinlits Die Set 3PK - Mixed Media #2

Altenew GARDEN TREASURE Clear Stamp Set ALT1603

I really like the dramatic colouring.

On the second card, I went soft and romatic with some ScrapBerry papers.

I also used some chippies and added texture.

Quick, quick in an hour and a half! ;-)

When one has a clear idea, the projects come together quickly.

Anyways, thanks for stopping by!
I hope you have a super weekend!
Cheers for now!

Take Time to Live - Timeless Collection - Penelope Dee

Hello Everyone

I have a layout to share with you today, using the Timeless collection from Penelope Dee.

I did a lot of splatters of distress ink on the background and then added some stamping.

I also added a few bits and pieces and die-cuts.

I also handmade my own flowers and these are the one's shown above.

I really love the sunset colours on this paper range! ;-)

I really did not have much time for blogging lately, but hopefully I can find a little more time and share some more projects with you!

Wishing you a fabulous and awesome weekend!

Christmas Tags - FabScraps - Holly Jolly Christmas Collection

Hello Everyone

I am back today with some Christmas tags, using the gorgeous collection from FabScraps - Holly Jolly.

I did quite a bit of fussy cutting and used some of the gorgeous chipboard pieces too.

I did some stamping on the background and also adding doodling with a black fine tipped pen. It worked a charm! ;-)

Thanks so much for stopping by, for some festive cheer today!
It is so scary that time is flying by so fast and I hope that I can get everything done and also get all my Christmas cards and tags done in time!! Yikes

Have a super weekend.

Paradise Layout - Penelope Dee - Paradise

Hello Everyone

I hope that you are all well.
The weeks seem to be flying past and time seems to be getting away from me a bit.

Anyways, we have some very hot and dry weather here, so I am really hoping for some rain soon!

I created a page for Penelope Dee recently and really had so much fun with this beautiful collection.

I wanted to use texture and just a few bits to showcase these gorgeous papers.

As always, I fussy cut a number of bits and gave them dimension, which really did make them look like the real thing.
I also used chippies, which I coloured with pigment inks.

I also used a starfish stencil on the background, which added some interest too, along with the string, pebbles and gauze.

I really did love this page and it certainly carried me off to far off places, with smells of pineapple and tropical flowers! ;-)

Thanks so much for popping today!
I hope you have a fabulous day!

Wedding Card - Penelope Dee Wanderlust

Hello Everyone

I hope that Monday treated you well! ;-)

Today I am sharing a card that I made for a colleague last week, that is getting married.
I was tasked with making a card that many people can sign.

Here is the card I made, using all sorts of bits and pieces from various Penelope Dee collections.

I used postal stamps to add to the background and then layered up the circles.

I added these gorgeous flowers, along with the wording.

I created little pockets on the inside and added paper squares, so that everyone could just take a little square and add their message.
I thought that was quite a good idea for many messages.

I know this card had a bit of a travel and journey theme...but that was the idea, of starting a new journey of marriage and then travelling through life.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Wishing you a fabulous day!

Let's Explore Tag - Penelope Dee - Paradise Collection

Hello Everyone

I hope that you are having a super Sunday! ;-)

I am quickly posting this mixed media tag for Penelope Dee, using the gorgeous Paradise Collection.

I used lots of texture and fussy cut bits.

I also used PaperArsty colour infusions on the seahorse, for the colouring, as well as texture.

There are many layers to this tag and I love the end result.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
