This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Hello Everyone

I hope that you are all well. Apologies for being missing this month but life has just been really busy on my end.

Today I have a Brag Book to share, using the Days Gone By collection from FabScraps.

I created this little book for my niece who had her matric dance a while back.

Let's start with the cover. I used purple as my accent colour to match her dress colour, which was purple.

I used the gorgeous heart chippie from FabScraps and then some gorgeous flowers from Little Birdie Crafts, along with die-cut leaves from FabScraps cardstock.

You can see below how the inserts fit into the folders created by the pages. I created 3 of these inserts.

I used resin pieces I have had for ever, along with some FabScraps stickers and the gorgeous FabScraps rose stencil.

Here are the 3 inserts that I created.

I have left some spaces for her to write some notes and also add some of her memento's.

Again, on this page I created little pockets with tag inserts for some wording etc.

On the last pages, I used some more FabScraps chippies, along with stamps and stickers.

This little booklet is the perfect size to pop into a handbag and pull-out easily to show friends and family.

I really hope that she will like it.

Thank goodness it is Friday and I am really looking forward to the weekend.

I hope you have a fabulous weekend and also find some scrappy, crafting, relaxing time! :-)

Cheers for now

Easter Cards - FabScraps Egg-Stravaganza Collection

Hello Everyone

I am still busy with sharing Easter projects and I hope that you will still enjoy these ! LOL

Today I have some cards and a tag, using the cute and sweet FabScraps collection - Egg-Stravaganza.

So let's start with the cards.

I love the colour combo here. It is so soft and gorgeous for Easter.

For the next card I went with blues.

I love that sweet little bunny.

I also created a little pink tag.

On these projects you will also see my own handmade little flowers.

Thanks so much for popping in!
See you again tomorrow!
Cheers for now!

This is the front of the project and the base is a 12 x 12 page.

When you start folding it out, this is what it looks like.

...and eventually the inside.

Below are the instructions on how to make this booklet.

For This Project You Will Need:
FabScraps Men Only Collection paper range: C112 001-08
FabScraps Cardstock:FSC112
FabScraps Chipboard: DC80010 Barbed Wire
FabScraps Chipboard: DC80011 Arrows
FabScraps Stickers: ST112 002
Grey, Green and Teal Cardstock
Stamps: BoBunny Grid and Gogs; Just my Type; Captured; I Heart Stars
Small round punch
Small black gems
Black & White Gel Fineliner
Distress Oxide Ink – Broken China, Hickory Smoke, Black Soot, Walnut Stain
White pigment ink
Paper distresser
Bits and pieces from worn pants, buttons and material.

Instructions:
  1. Trim the grey cardstock to size. 30cm x 30cm. Measure 3 sections 9,5cm each and allow for 1/2cm in between, for the folds, on the width of the cardstock. Now measure 3 sections along the length of the cardstock, 1 x 6cm, 2x 12cm. Fold along all these fold lines. (See photo)
  2. Trim on the width folds, where you allowed for the 1/2cm in between the sections. (See photo)
  3. Use a white gel pen to do faux stitching along the length lines of all the folds.
  4. Trim the various bits of patterned paper to fit within each section, allowing for a cardstock border and adhere these to the cardstock base (See photo)
  5. Fussy cut the various words, blocks and arrows from the patterned papers.
  6. Use a black gel pen to do faux stitching around all of the patterned paper bits.
  7. Trim the green, grey and teal cardstock for the bottom sections of the booklet. Width should be the same as the patterned paper, but the length only 7cm. Shape the top end and adhere only on the edges, to make a folder, to insert your photo’s.
  8. Use Broken China and some water to splash over the bottom 1st section. Once dry, outline with a black gel pen.
  9. Mat your photo’s with the various cardstock, leaving a slight border.
  10. Stamp the various images, on the various folders and bits, as per the photo. Use Black Soot and Hickory Smoke.
  11. Colour the arrow chipboard with white pigment ink. Once dry, use your finger to rub over a little Walnut stain. Allow this to dry. Edge with a black gel pen.
  12. Adhere the various materials, buttons and chipboard pieces, photo’s etc. Add white and black gel faux stitching, as per the photo.
  13. Add small black gems, as required.
  14. Fold up the booklet. Use white pigment ink to edge on all the folds and edges.
  15. Trim the black and white stripes from the patterned paper and adhere to the outside of the booklet, approx. 2,5cm from the top.
  16. Add white gel faux stitching around the strip and all edges.
  17. Fussy cut the Little Man Title and adhere with double sided tape.
  18. Add 3 little black gems, as per the photo.

Thanks ever so much for stopping by!
I really appreciate the visit.
Have a fabulous day!
