This is the start of an inspiration patch, where I hope that fellow scrappers and creators will come and find some inspiration, or even leave some inspiration for me.

Sweet Moment Layout - Penelope Dee Tea Time

Hello Everyone

I have another Penelope Dee layout to share with you today.
I entered it for the last Trocraft/Penelope Dee competition.

Here's my page.

I did not have a lot of this collection left, so I really did have to scrounge some of the papers and bits.

Here are the close-ups of the clusters.

I used lots of die-cuts and also fussy cut quite a few leafy elements.

The chipboard pieces were pieces from Enmarc.

I love this photo of my neices.  They are gorgeous, young ladies now.
They were sweet girlies then.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I really appreciate your visits.
Have a gorgeous Saturday!

ClipBoard - Penelope Dee Tea Time

Hello Everyone

I hope that 2017 is treating you well and that it's been a really good start to a really great year! ;-)

I am sharing a project today that I made months ago, for a class and just have not had time to share.
It's a clipboard for 2017.

The photo's are not so great, as they were taken with my phone, but I think you will get the idea.

I used the gorgeous Tea Time Collection from Penelope Dee.

I created a patchwork design for the background.

I did some crackle paste stencilling, along with some distress ink stencilling too.

It has a French Country feel to it, which I absolutely love.

I am yet to get this clipboard back from my teaching shop but it will be going up on my scrapbook table at home.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I really do appreciate the visits.
Have a super day!

You are my Cup of Tea Tag - Penelope Dee

Hello Everyone

Last Friday I had the pleasure of meeting Glenda Viljoen, at the retailers/teachers class at Emperors Palace.

Glenda and Trodat were launching the new Penelope Dee collection - Tea Time.

I love the new collection and the paper quality is fabulous.

We received the collection, along with some stamps and goodies.

I used the stamp to create this tag.

The tag is from Kraft paper and so I wasn't sure how the colouring etc. would take, from my Ditress Inks.  In any case, it came out fairly nicely and with the help of a white gel pen, I think the effect is perfect.

I used white pigment ink for the sentiment too.

I am yet to use the paper collection, but will definitely share it, once I have created something.
It is all about time and opportunity! ;-)

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a super day!
