Original - Prima BAP May

Hello Everyone

I am so pleased that Friday is here! Time to chill and time to scrap! ;-)

I finished a page in the week for the Prima May BAP Challenge.



It's a real goodie!

My boy looks so serious here, but in actual fact, these were his posey photo's! Normally he pulls faces and such, but on this day decided to do these model type poses..LOL...too funny! ;-)

So my title is that middle strip across the middle - ORIGINAL!

I kept the colours quite neutral and let the photo's speak for themselves.  So even though I used some flowers, I think it's still very much a boy page.

I used up lots of bits and pieces that I had from the Lifetime Collection and the Engraver Collection. My corners are embossed with copper embossing powder and just love their colour.

I love how this page turned out! I have some journalling on the back of the page for Joe and hopefully one day we will read it and know that he is an "original" and so special and loved.

Key to my Heart - Prima Sep BAP

Hi Everyone

I really loved the sketch for the Prima BAP this month.  It really is a goodie.

I turned it on it's side and came up with this.

This picture of Joe was taken when he was just a month or 2 after his first birthday! Those big eyes are just too precious and I still remember this age so fondly.

I used a combination of the Life Time Collection and the Romantique Collection. I also used some Prima painterly petals Hydrangeas and it was really great to use a little bit of my stash.

I did quite a bit of die-cutting and even though it was time consuming, certainly adds to this page.

This little boy is certainly the key to my heart and I plan to write a little note, which will go in the little pocket next to the photo, and Joe can one-day read it, when he is bigger.

Reach - Prima PPP July

Hello Everyone

I am really loving today and have managed to get quite a few things done! One of them being this page for the Prima PPP.




Initially this was a little daunting for me, as I really don't have to much of these colours, especially in Prima papers.  However, I thought a few touches of these colours would probably be just fine.

I used a combination of the Engraver Collection and Life Time. I wanted to keep the page really masculine and so did not use any flowers.

I did some gesso stencilling and then added all my little bits and pieces, along with the photo.

This photo is of my brother and this layout is about him reaching out and taking hold of the things that he really wants, and holding onto them, if he truly wants to.
